Kindergarten

There are two main responsibilities of kindergarten teachers.  “See the connection of curriculum on the first-grade level and lay a foundation that students need; without sacrificing the kindergarten child to fully develop on their own.” – Patty Smith Hill

Our Kindergarten curriculum is the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. The children are taught in small groups and one on one experiences. We believe in  “active learning” with lots of hands-on experiences creating an enjoyable environment.
